Help & Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about attending the Festival, inviting an evangelist to your church and preparing for your pre-meeting.

Attending the Festival

When does the Festival take place?

The Jesus Is Alive — Miracles Festival takes place on 8–12 December 2026, starting at 17:00 (5:00 PM). Times are local to South Africa.

Where is the Festival?

At LOFDAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE, 3 Sandpiper Crescent, Brackenfell, Western Cape, in the Cape Town–Kraaifontein area.

Is entrance free?

Yes. Entrance to the Festival is free.

Is the church booking form for attending the main Festival?

The booking form is for churches requesting a Festival Pre-Meeting with Evangelist Lonnie Sims. It is not an individual admission form for the main Festival.

What is the difference between the Festival and the pre-meetings?

The main Festival runs from 8–12 December at Lofdal. Official Festival Pre-Meetings take place in participating churches from 21 November–7 December 2026, leading up to the main event.

Church pre-meetings

How can our church invite Evangelist Lonnie Sims?

Open Request Festival Pre-Meeting, choose an available date and time, complete the church details and submit the form. Then use the WhatsApp button shown with your request reference to send the request to the coordinator.

Which areas are covered?

The pre-meeting programme serves Cape Town and Kraaifontein. Include your city or suburb and full church address so the organiser can review the location and travel arrangements.

What times can we request?

Weekday pre-meetings are at 19:00. Saturdays and Sundays offer 10:00, 15:00 and 19:00, subject to availability. Only dates and times currently open for requests can be selected.

Does submitting the form confirm our date?

No. Your submission is a request for review. The church receives a WhatsApp confirmation after the organiser approves it. Wait for that confirmation before announcing the pre-meeting.

What information must we provide?

Church name, pastor’s name, WhatsApp number including country code, city or suburb, full church address, preferred date and time are required. Email is optional. You may also include service type, expected attendance, language and other useful details.

Who arranges transport from the hotel?

The church is responsible for collecting the speaker from his hotel. The hotel address is supplied after confirmation. Coordinate pickup details with the organiser.

Is an offering compulsory?

An offering is voluntary. The church may choose to receive an offering during the pre-meeting; it is not compulsory.

Must our church pay for international flights or hotel accommodation?

The invitation programme does not require the church to cover the evangelist’s international flights or hotel accommodation. The church is asked to arrange collection from the hotel.

Can we request interpretation or explain special requirements?

Yes. Include the language, interpretation needs and any other arrangements in the Pre-Meeting details field. Discuss them with the organiser before confirmation.

Availability and request help

Why is a date or time unavailable?

A time may be blocked by the organiser or already reserved for a confirmed pre-meeting. Availability can change while requests are being reviewed.

What if no dates are shown in the form?

No dates are currently open for requests. Check again later or contact the coordinator to discuss availability.

How do I know my request was received?

After a successful submission, the page displays a request reference and a WhatsApp button. Keep the reference and send the request using that button. A received request is not yet a confirmed booking.

What if the form will not submit?

Complete every required field, choose both a date and time, and tick the transport acknowledgement. Check any error message. If a time is no longer available, choose another. If a reference has already appeared, contact the coordinator with it before submitting again.

How can we change or cancel a request?

Contact the coordinator on WhatsApp with your request reference, church name and the change you need. Wait for the organiser to confirm any revised arrangement.

Will our church details appear on the public calendar?

The public calendar shows date and time availability. Confirmed church details remain private.

Speakers and promotional material

Where can we learn about the evangelists?

Use the Lonnie Sims and Luca Martini pages for their ministry introductions. The Festival page also presents the ministry’s event history.

Where can we download Festival posters and social media images?

Open Media for the A3 print poster, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp formats, plus the DL leaflet front and back.

Which file should we use for printing?

Use the A3 PDF for the Festival poster. The Media page also offers the 300 DPI PDF for the back of the DL leaflet. Choose the format that matches your print job.

Are there separate materials for a church pre-meeting?

Yes. The Lonnie Sims page links to promotional media for the official Festival Pre-Meetings. Confirm your church’s date and time with the organiser before publicising them.
